Since 2009 I have created “word pictures” during the Sunday sermons. This is a great exercise in working quickly while capturing the essence of the message. I try new ideas without the pressure of “over thinking” the process. Some turn out better than others but that’s ok; a sketchbook allows you to experiment freely.
My pre-packed bag varies but usually contains: a pencil, eraser, small ruler, micron pens, watercolor pencils, water brush, Parallel calligraphy pens, and sometimes brush pens, water soluble graphite tools, or colored pencils.
